How do you draw the designs?
I don’t have many rough sketches, but I often make illustrations directly from photographs. By the way, this is a Scottish Fold that is about to make its debut.

Is there any character that you are particularly attached to?
I thought of Kotarou, a Shiba Inu, when Shiba Inus were popular on SNS, and I had a Shiba Inu at my previous job and loved them.
Kotarou has been the most popular since his debut about 5 years ago. The other animals are cute as well, but I think it makes a designer very happy to see an item that he has a special attachment to become the most popular.
I receive letters from customers about Nemu Nemu Animals, and they make me so happy that I keep them all. I am so happy that I keep all of them. Thank you.” When I am tired, I read them again and think, “I will do my best.
The items we created reach many people, and they come back in the form of letters, and new animals make their debut. This is the end of our interview after hearing about this wonderful episode.
