Character Introductions

Oz

A ghost boy. Born as inspiration from graffiti in Los Angeles, this character is the protagonist of this story. He’s laid-back and loves music.

Loo

A ghost girl. The heroine who goes to various places with Oz. She’s a bit headstrong and loves cooking, but unfortunately she’s not very good at it. She also loves fashion, but since she’s a ghost, she can’t find clothes that suit her well. Her treasure is a rabbit stuffed animal named Mimi-chan.

Kumanoko

A bear stuffed animal with just a touch of melancholy. That he can move is unknown to Oz and Loo. Through training, he has become able to emit weak Wi-Fi signals.

Mimi

Loo’s treasured rabbit stuffed animal. She has a girly personality and sometimes gets flustered. Currently concerned about dieting. However, she is super skilled at making sweets.

Wi-fi

An electronic device true to its name. A cynic, but actually a nice guy who cares about his friends. His trademark red shoes are retractable.

Spiritualy-chan

A somewhat spiritual girl. 16 years old. She encountered spiritual books in elementary school and became a fanatic. Her favorite food is tropical parfait. She is also drawn to quantum mechanics.

This story began being drawn as inspiration from graffiti I saw long ago in Los Angeles. Admiring Snoopy, which I loved so much, I am quietly aiming for stories with beautiful colors and simple everyday moments.

Since the two are ghost children, I titled it “Friendly Ghost.” Living alongside the ghost boy Oz and ghost girl Loo are Kumanoko, a bear stuffed animal, and Mimi, a rabbit stuffed animal that Loo fell in love with at first sight. And the Wi-Fi in their home. I’d be happy if you enjoyed their little stories.
