This story was born as a motif inspired by graffiti in Los Angeles. It’s not deep, yet somehow it lingers. It’s a loose 4-panel comic about a ghost boy and girl.

So, how did you like it? We would be happy if you all enjoyed it!

Character Introductions

Oz

A ghost boy. Born from inspiration taken from graffiti in Los Angeles, this character is the protagonist of this story. He’s laid-back and loves music.

Lou

A ghost girl. She is the heroine who goes to various places with Oz. She’s a bit headstrong and loves cooking, but unfortunately she’s not very good at it. She also likes fashion, but being a ghost, she finds it difficult to find clothes that suit her. Her treasure is a rabbit plush toy named Mimi.

Kumanoko

A bear plush toy that carries a hint of melancholy. The fact that it can move is unknown to Oz and Lou. Through training, it has gained the ability to emit a weak Wi-Fi signal.

Mimi

Lou’s treasured rabbit plush toy. She has a girly personality and can get flustered easily. Currently, she’s concerned about her diet. However, she is exceptionally good at making sweets.

Wi-Fi

An electronic device true to its name. He’s sarcastic but actually a good-hearted guy who values friendship. His trademark red shoes are retractable.

Spiritualy-chan

A somewhat spiritual girl. She is 16 years old. She became a spiritual enthusiast after encountering a spiritual book in elementary school. Her favorite food is tropical parfait. She is also drawn to quantum mechanics.

ABOUT

This story began when I got inspiration from graffiti I saw in Los Angeles long ago. Admiring Snoopy, which I loved so much, I am quietly aiming for beautiful colors and casual stories.

Since the two are ghost boy and girl, I titled it “The Friendly Ghost.” Living alongside the boy Oz and girl Lou are Kumanoko, a bear plush toy, and Mimi, a rabbit plush toy that Lou fell in love with at first sight. And the wi-fi in their home. We would be delighted if you enjoy their small stories.
