Explanation
Thank you for teaching me! I looked it up and found that 蜻蛉 refers to a dragonfly, and long ago it was called “akitsu” or “akizu,” and was used as an autumn seasonal word in tanka poetry. A transparent-winged insect that fluttered through the air was called “kagero” during the Heian period, and the name left a trace as it became a kanji. It seems that starting from the Edo period, it began to be called “tombo”. From a spiritual perspective, in Japan it has been known since ancient times as an auspicious insect, and during the Sengoku period it was favored by samurai as a “victory insect”. A dragonfly with transparent wings seems to have high vibrations✨

Thank you for reading, and I hope to see you next time!
