This story was born as a motif from graffiti in Los Angeles. It’s not deep, but it leaves a slight impression. It’s a loose 4-panel comic about a ghost boy and girl.

So, how did you like it? I’d be happy if everyone enjoyed it!

Character Introductions

Oz

A ghost boy. This character, born with inspiration from Los Angeles graffiti, is the protagonist of this story. He’s laid-back and loves music.

Lou

A ghost girl. She’s the heroine who goes out to various places with Oz. She’s a bit assertive and likes cooking, but unfortunately she’s not very good at it. She likes fashion too, but since she’s a ghost, finding clothes that fit is difficult. Her treasure is a rabbit plush toy, Mimi-chan.

Kumanoko

A bear plush toy with just a hint of melancholy. Oz and Lou don’t know that he can move. Through training, he’s become able to emit weak Wi-Fi signals.

Mimi

Lou’s precious rabbit plush toy. She has a girly personality and often gets flustered. Her current concern is dieting. But she’s super good at making sweets.

Wi-fi

An electronic device true to his name. He’s cynical, but he’s actually a good guy who cares about his friends. His trademark red shoes can be retracted.

Spiritually-chan

A somewhat spiritual girl. She’s 16 years old. She encountered a spiritual book in elementary school and became a fan. Her favorite food is tropical parfait. She’s also drawn to quantum mechanics.

ABOUT

This story started when I saw some graffiti in Los Angeles long ago and got inspired to draw it. Inspired by Snoopy, which I loved, I’m secretly aiming for beautiful colors and casual stories.

Since the two are a ghost boy and girl, I titled it “The Friendly Ghost.” Living alongside boy Oz and girl Lou is Kumanoko, a bear plush toy. Mimi, a rabbit plush toy that Lou fell in love with at first sight. And the wi-fi in their home. I’d be happy if you enjoyed their little stories.
