This story was born from the inspiration of graffiti in Los Angeles. Though not profound, it leaves a subtle impression. It’s a loose 4-panel comic about a ghost boy and girl.

So, how did you like it? I would be happy if you all enjoyed it!

Character Introductions

Oz

A ghost boy. Born from inspiration found in Los Angeles graffiti, he is the protagonist of this story. He’s laid-back and loves music.

Lou

A ghost girl. She is the heroine who goes to various places with Oz. She’s a bit headstrong and likes cooking, but unfortunately she’s not very good at it. She also likes fashion, but being a ghost, she doesn’t have many clothes that suit her. Her treasure is a rabbit plushie named Mimi.

Kumanoko

A bear plushie that carries just a touch of melancholy. Oz and Lou don’t know that it can move. Through training, it has learned to emit weak Wi-Fi signals.

Mimi

A rabbit plushie that is Lou’s treasure. She has a girly personality and often gets flustered. She’s currently concerned about dieting. However, she’s extremely good at making sweets.

Wi-fi

An electronic device true to its name. Sarcastic but actually a good guy who cares about his friends. His trademark red shoes can be retracted.

Spiritualichan

A somewhat spiritual girl. She is 16 years old. She encountered a spiritual book in elementary school and became a fan. Her favorite food is tropical parfait. She is also attracted to quantum mechanics.

ABOUT

This story was inspired by graffiti I saw in Los Angeles long ago. Admiring Snoopy, which I loved, I am quietly aiming to tell simple stories with beautiful colors.

Since the two are a ghost boy and girl, I titled it “Friendly Ghost.” Living alongside the boy Oz and girl Lou are Kumanoko, a bear plushie; Mimi, a rabbit plushie that Lou bought at first sight; and the Wi-Fi in their home. I would be happy if you enjoy their small stories.
