This story was born from graffiti motifs seen in Los Angeles. It’s not profound, yet it leaves a slight impression. It’s a loose 4-panel comic about a ghost boy and girl.

So, how was that? I’d be happy if you all enjoyed it!

Character Introduction

Oz

A ghost boy. This character, born from inspiration drawn from graffiti in Los Angeles, is the protagonist of this story. He’s laid-back and loves music.

Lou

A ghost girl. She is the heroine who goes out to various places with Oz. She’s a bit headstrong, and likes to cook, though sadly she’s not very good at it. She also likes fashion, but since she’s a ghost, there aren’t many clothes that suit her. Her treasure is a rabbit stuffed animal named Mimi-chan.

Kumanoko

A bear stuffed animal that exudes a certain melancholy. His ability to move is unknown to Oz and Lou. Through training, he has become capable of emitting weak Wi-Fi signals.

Mimi

Lou’s treasured rabbit stuffed animal. She has a girly personality and tends to get flustered easily. These days she’s concerned about dieting. However, she’s amazing at making sweets.

Wi-Fi

An electronic device befitting his name. Though he’s a cynic, he’s actually a good guy who cares for his friends. His signature red shoes can be retracted.

Spirituali-chan

A somewhat spiritual girl. She’s 16 years old. She became a fan after encountering a spiritual book in elementary school. Her favorite food is tropical parfait. She’s also drawn to quantum mechanics.

ABOUT

This story began when I got inspiration from graffiti I saw in Los Angeles long ago. Yearning for the beautiful colors of Snoopy, which I loved, I’m secretly aiming to create simple, unremarkable stories.

Since the two are ghost boy and girl, I titled it “Friendly Ghost.” Living alongside boy Oz and girl Lou are a bear stuffed animal, Kumanoko. A rabbit stuffed animal, Mimi, that Lou fell in love with at first sight and bought. And the wi-fi in their home. I’d be happy if you enjoy their little stories.
